Preparedness & Recovery Resources for Your Community
In times of disaster or tragedy—whether from weather events, man-made incidents, or other crises like school shootings—it's crucial for communities, businesses, and Chambers of Commerce to have quick access to effective tools and strategies. The Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives (TCCE) Disaster Recovery Task Force is committed to supporting Chambers across the state by providing resources that enhance planning, communication, training, and recovery support.
What’s Inside the TCCE Member Resource Hub?
Our comprehensive resource guide offers a range of essential materials and actionable strategies tailored for chamber executives, business owners, and local leaders. These resources help you prepare for, respond to, and recover from any kind of disaster or tragedy. Some key areas covered include:
- Disaster Preparedness & Response Tools: Links to programs like the US Chamber Foundation’s Disaster Help Desk and practical guides on building business resilience.
- Recovery & Resilience Strategies: Access to workbooks, toolkits, and best practices from organizations like FEMA, the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), and the Texas Department of Emergency Management (TDEM).
- Government Resources & Support Networks: Information on how to connect with state emergency teams, locate disaster recovery task forces, and find business-focused emergency preparation resources provided by the Governor’s Office.
By joining TCCE, members gain access to a full suite of strategies, guidance, and expert contacts to effectively support their communities before, during, and after disaster strikes.
For additional support or questions about the resources, TCCE members can reach out directly to the Disaster Team, including Drew Scheberle, TCCE Executive Director, or Michael Gallops, TCCE Disaster & Tragedies Chair.
